Lance Johnston has provided us with the following bio:

I grew up in Central California on my family’s cattle ranch. Starting my first colt for the ranch at 12 and began training outside horses at age 13, I worked on my family’s cattle ranch through high school training and shoeing horses for the ranch and public. After graduating from High School I was able to pay my way through Cal Poly State University by continuing to train and shoe. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree.

I showed my first Reined Cow Horse in 1995. Since then I have built, own and operate a successful training operation along with my wife Tammy and my 10 year old son Trystin in the San Joaquin Valley of Central California. I have been a multiple Finalist at all NRCHA major events, including World’s Greatest Horseman, NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, Stakes, Hackamore Classic, and Derby.
