Show and Practice Added to Schedule

As a result of our meeting on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 we have added two events to our 2010 schedule:

Cow Horse Practice
Crocus Cow Horse Association is pleased to sponsor a Cow Horse Practice Session at Thunderbird Horse Center at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5th.  Cost for the evening is $20/person.  Further practices may be scheduled if enough people are interested.  Please call Mark Michie (204)637-2104 or Neil McLeod (204)728-0818 by Monday morning if you are interested in attending so that we can have enough cattle at the practice.

Cow Horse Show Added to Schedule
The first two shows on our 2010 Schedule have been cancelled due to rainy weather, so... we've added a new show to the schedule.  The next Crocus Cow Horse Association show will be at Chalanchuk Acres, Nesbitt on the afternoon of July 31st.  This will be a 4 event show including Cutting, Reining, Cowhorse, and Roping.  Please enter by Wednesday, July 28th by calling Mark Michie at 204-637-2104.

Please enter all shows by the previous Wednesday so that we can know who to call in the event of a cancellation.  Minimum of 10 competitors must be entered to hold a show!

I hope to see you out at these events.

The Clinic Was Great!

We had a great clinic this past weekend with Lance Johnston of Lindsay, California.  Lance is a very good clinician, with some good pointers for everyone.  The majority of our time was spent on cattle work, which was what we were all there for!

If you were at the clinic and have any comments, please share your comments with us.

Don't forget that our first show of the season is coming up soon on May 29th!
